A certified Permaculture Designer from Geoff Lawton’s Permaculture Research Institute, Australia, Krishanu is a software professional with over three decades of experience in senior leadership roles at companies like Amazon, Yahoo, Flipkart, and Siemens.
Over the last two decades, he has developed a keen interest in Regenerative Agriculture and has actively worked to restore dry, degraded, and over-grazed lands into lush, productive food forests. At the Srimoyi Center of Permaculture, Krishanu, along with his wife, Bhaswati are studying and documenting the process of transforming dry, barren landscapes into sustainable food forests. The Center offers internships to interested people to participate in this process and learn about the intersection of Soil, Food and ultimately Human Health.
